Project Ten | December

Well, I've made it to December. Ten photos a month of what's going on in my world for all of 2015. No client work. Just my life--mostly my kids. It's been such an awesome experience collecting these photos from month to month. I've been challenged a ton and have learned a lot about my shooting style as well as what energizes me as a photographer. I have a fantastic view of what happened this year in the form of photos that I love of people and things that I love. We have exciting things planned for this little project for 2016 so be sure to keep following this group of ten ladies.

Thank you for taking a peek into my world with this project and encouraging me.

Without further ado, here are my ten for December including a trip to Clemson to visit Matt's cousin Brandon who is an assistant coach for the Tigers, a quick visit with some of our favorite (and funniest) people we know, an overnight trip to New York City (one of my favorite places to visit), and the standard Christmas traditions that come in December. <3

Project Ten | November

Fall in our house means mom is busy with thousands of photos from family photo shoots for clients. But, it also means we carve pumpkins. We play in the leaves. We celebrate a birthday. We enjoy each other in the moments in between the chaos. We celebrated Maelynn's 5th Birthday this month so I found as many photos of her as I could for this month since I didn't get the chance to take her out for a full-fledged 5-year-old shoot. Claire | Newborn

Even though it took big sister Emmie a little bit of time to warm up to her baby sister and to me coming into her house, she sure pulled out all the cute just for me! I had such a sweet morning with the Ross family as they adjusted to life with a new baby. Their family of four was so sweet and I enjoyed SO much capturing these images for Chase and Amber!Grid_0245Grid_0246Grid_0247Grid_0248Grid_0249Grid_0250Grid_0251Grid_0252Grid_0253Grid_0254Grid_0255Grid_0256Grid_0257Grid_0258Grid_0259Grid_0260Grid_0261Grid_0262Grid_0263Grid_0264Grid_0265Grid_0266Grid_0267Grid_0268Grid_0269Grid_0270Grid_0271Grid_0272Grid_0273Grid_0274Grid_0275Grid_0276Grid_0277Grid_0278Grid_0279Grid_0280Grid_0281

The Weber Family

I've known the Weber family for quite awhile but I hadn't seen them in many years. When they arrived for their session (on one of the hottest evenings of the summer, no doubt) I found myself asking, "the kids are HOW old now?" I felt old. The Webers were so much fun to photograph and spend time with in spite of the hot and sweaty conditions we faced. Thanks, Weber family, for a great session!Grid_0223Grid_0224Grid_0225Grid_0226Grid_0227Grid_0228Grid_0229Grid_0230Grid_0231Grid_0232Grid_0233Grid_0234Grid_0235Grid_0236Grid_0237Grid_0238Grid_0239Grid_0240Grid_0241Grid_0242Grid_0243Grid_0244
